Pony Camps

An intensive five days of horses! It is great fun, a real confidence boost and a positive environment to improve your riding!

Camps are run on our farm where you can enjoy two 2-hour rides per day in either our all-weather sand arena, indoor square pen or trekking over the farm.

What to expect at Camp

Camp runs between 1pm on the Monday and 12pm the Friday for camp weeks

About Camp!

Our camps are run at our farm where you can enjoy riding in the all weather sand arena, hacking over the farm and exploring the cross-country course. This is an intensive five days of horses!! It is great fun, a real confidence boost in a positive environment where there is the opportunity to form new friendships with other riders, horses and instructors!

You have the option of bringing your own horse or using one of ours. We will match you with a suitable horse or pony depending on your size and ability. All equipment (tack) will be supplied if needed.

You will be taught about caring for the horse and how to improve your overall awareness of, and relationship with, the horses.

We offer dressage, show jumping, show hunter and cross country specific instruction from our friendly instructors.

For our younger riders we focus on gaining confidence through games and farm riding.

What to pack for Camp:

-  Sleeping bag and pillow
-  Toiletries
-  Towel
-  Raincoat or jacket
-  Riding helmet - we prefer if you have your own but have them available if not
-  Boots or suitable riding boots or gumboots
-  Jodhpurs
-  Sunscreen
-  Casual clothes for evening wear
-  Swimming togs and towel in summer – if it's hot we usually find water somewhere!
-  One tray of baking or bag of biscuits
-  One small bag of fruit
-  A named drink bottle
​-  A named melamine plate and cup

Costs

The cost is $550.00 (inc GST) per week of camp.

You can also arrange to join us for a day or two of riding priced at $140 per day or even a half day for $80.00. 

Children
Cost includes all tuition, use of horse and tack during camp, accommodation and food. Accommodation is provided in Kate's house where you will be supervised by the "camp mum".

Adults
Cost includes all tuition and the use of a horse and tack during camp if you require. 

Horses & ponies
You are welcome to bring your own horse/pony: the first one is free of charge and additional ponies are charged at $50.00 (inc GST) per week.
